Chilling with Sudio Sweden

Hey! You’re back! I hope you brought the champagne glasses ’cause it is toasty out there. Har har har. And it’s not even June! I think we’re looking at one long, hot summer but I’ve got something to help me chill — these cool Vasa Blå earphones I tried this weekend from Sudio Sweden. (Actually in Sweden!) They’re the brand’s top-of-the-line earphones, wireless and bluetooth-enabled with studio-sound quality (not that I’ve ever been in a studio to know, but the sound quality is better than I’ve ever heard) and an eight-hour battery life. Turns out Mommy can have nice things, and these are very nice indeed. Unlike this heat. I need more friends with pools.

This is chillaxing to me: a couple of great books to read (here I’ve got All in Good Taste and See San Francisco), some cute stationery to write a note and my iPod with lots of great tunes and fun podcasts at the ready. The earphones are very Apple-like in their look and feel, and come with an elegant leather case, charging cable, matching rose gold clip and four pairs of rubber earbuds in different sizes. I’m using the ones that were on the earphones when I took them out of the packaging and they fit like Cinderella’s glass slipper.

If you’ve got a phone (and maybe you think the “if” is a little weird, because who doesn’t? I doesn’t!) you can pair it to take calls with the built-in microphone and control your phone (or my iPod) with the remote.

I like how both sides are weighted equally so the cord sits comfortably around the back of your neck and it’s light too — at 14 grams, the lightest on the market!

I wish I had a pair to share with each you (more giveaways coming soon!) but I do have a 15% discount you can use when you buy them here with the code TrySmallThings. How does that sound?

How are you chilling in this heat?

Thanks to Sudio Sweden, who sent me the Vasa Blå earphones for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

  1. Very sophisticated, very classy and stylish. If and when we need to tune out the world, this looks like a lovely way to do it. Love the soft pastel/summer colours in your great photography. Tres feminin.
