August is for…

August ban.do agenda

I’ve been taking it easy this summer, but things are about to ramp up. Here’s what I’m sharing/trying/planning/watching and more this month!

Sharing / Delicious new salads from Canadian Living Essential Salads (I’m kicking off a blog tour August 15!)

Trying / Bounce‘s two new flavours of protein-packed energy balls (review + giveaway this month!) and the delicious goodness at Ottawa’s new Moo Shu Ice Cream and Playa Del Popsical

Playing / With these water balloons that fill themselves (amazing!)

Planning / Wayyyyy overdue birthday parties for Lily and James (they want scavenger hunts at the park)

Starting / To paint the dining room (I didn’t get to it last month but my mom’s visiting in a few weeks and lending a hand)

Finishing / Painting the dining room (and maybe even the baseboards!)

Going / To a preview event celebrating the opening of Ottawa’s first Simons store, to a preview event for the Rideau Centre‘s new 230,000 square-foot expansion, and to a #FarmtoChef tasting event with Egg Farmers of Canada and chef Marysol Foucault of Chez Edgar (of course I’ll share photos and details here on the blog!)

Reading / The Light Between Oceans (have you joined the read-a-long?), Modern Lovers and I Let You Go

Reviewing / The adorable new picture book, Counting with Barefoot Critters (plus a giveaway!) and Dave Eggers’ new Heroes of the Frontier

Wearing / This pencil skirt, tee and ring (to the Simons preview) and this dress (to the Rideau Centre expansion and #FarmtoChef event)

Watching / Suits (I’m on a serious bender) and Beat Bugs (the brand-new Netflix series for kids inspired by Beatles’ music — love this behind-the-scenes!)

Wanting / This adorable tee from Ban.do (because two Herbie happy hearts are better than one!) and these sarcasm pens and soup mugs and trays from Chapters’ new Fall line (I will love them for-evah!)

What are you reading/starting/wearing/watching this month?
